First Seminar on "International Trends in
Corporate Governance-Some Recommendations for India"


Mahendra & Young Knowledge Foundation, organised this seminar jointly with Indo-American Chamber of commerce. United States Information Services (USIS) and Bombay Management Association (BMA), on 16th August 1999 at Hotel Taj Bombay. The Seminar was addressed by very eminent persons from USA and India like;

  • Ms. Carolyn Kay Brancato - Director of the Global Corporate Governance Research Centre, Conference Board - USA.
  • Mr. M.K.Sharma - Director Legal & Secretarial-Hindustan Levers Ltd. (Unilever Group company)
  • Mr. Basudeb Sen - Executive Director - Unit Trust of India (Largest Financial Institution & mutual Fund of India)
  • Mr. M.K.Chouhan - Chairman Mahendra & Young Knowledge Foundation, Bombay, India
