The video conference was attended by nearly
50 people comprised of Industry Leaders, Directors of
Management Schools, Management students & members of the
press.
The objective of this Video Conference were
two fold
: The first objective is a little broad one.
1. To expose our participants to the general
International trends in CG, through an expert like
you, who has pioneered teaching CG in Harvard.
2. Secondly, To share with Prof. Lorsch, the general
scenario in CG in India & through panel
discussion & seek his responses on a crucial issue of
"Evaluating Board performance &
enhancing its effectiveness."
Prof.J.Lorsch is a leading authority from
Harvard Business School, who pioneered teaching Corporate
Governance at Harvard. The Video conferences lasted 60
minutes and the discussions covered wide ranging
international as well as Asian issues on Corporate
Governance, including those of India.
